Butterflyfish is aggressive eater

Posted: 05 May 2020 10:20 PM PDT

My Klein's butterflyfish already recognizes me and the feeding pipette I use as a source of food, to the point that when I try to target feed my banded sleeper goby, it follows the pipette and steals the food from in front of the goby's face. How can I deter this behavior?

I'm getting into the hobby and planning tank. From watching videos, I noticed that clownfish seem to be fairly social for fish. Can I mix clownfish? MIC.

The mocha clown fish is a gorgeous creature. The black storm clown fish is also beautiful. Can I pair the two up, or would it be best for the fish if I stick with just one? I would get a pair of both but it's going to be a small reef tank and I don't want to overcrowd the fish. I'm a long ways off from even cycling up a tank, but I just want to do my research to make sure the fish are happy when I do. I'd love to have both types of fish, but my biggest concern is whether or not the fish will be happy. Can I get one mocha and one black storm to pair up? And will they be happy if I do?

UPDATE: This was a hitchhiker coral.. Figured it was probably a Favia coral. Of course I moved it, it fell & most of the tissue receded. There’s still a tiny bit of tissue hanging on , so I did a Revive dip. We’ll see if it comes back eventually.

Can anyone ID this coral for me please?

Top view of my 75G Reef

This is certainly not a well-filmed video... but I always scan my tank before everyone goes to bed so I can find any anomalies. Check out the scenery as my 75g reef gets ready for bedtime. (I tried to upload the video and all it did was take me back to the upload page...)
