Fresh 2 gallon jar tank - comments welcomed

I’ve been spending a lot of time on my new 20 gal tank. Thought my nano could use a little bit of an upgrade. New wood and I’m trying out some lucky bamboo. The log does take up a bit of space, but I’m loving the look. Has anyone had luck with the lucky bamboo?

Stocking Advice - 10 Gallon (37 liter)

Posted: 08 May 2020 12:10 PM PDT

Hey guys, I posted this in another sub, but thought it might fit in here! Any advice, comments, or suggestions are really appreciated, as I'm still new to this :)

Trying to plan a giant Walstad style bowl. This will be my first heavily planted tank, ideally with no fertilizer or CO2, and I'm trying to figure out what livestock I want before deciding on plants. I already have the bowl (bought the largest I could find) and substrate is fine, smooth gravel.

WATER CAPACITY: 10 gallons (online measurements say 12, but I'm erring on the side of caution).

SIZE (diameter): 16 inches (40cm)

Here are some I was looking at to mix and match from. There have been mixed opinions online about what tanks size these fish need though. I'd love to hear your opinions!

  • Clown Killifish (5 ct)

  • Dwarf Rasbora or other small Rasbora (8 ct)

  • Ghost Shrimp (4-6 ct)

  • Nerite Snail?

  • Endler guppies?

I'm going to my LFS later today to get some ghost shrimp and plants for my betta tanks, so any plant recs are welcome too!
