Crayfish eating mystery snail egg clutches as a way to... "go green" I guess with my tanks. Good? Bad? Possibly healthy?

I just got two blue crayfish from my family today, they're currently drowning in babies (which by the way I'd also love suggestions on how to sell these crayfish for them). I also have mystery snails that lay eggs like nobody's god damn business. A lot of clutches tend to fall into the tank, and after I noticed that the baby snails tend to swarm the clutches and munch on them for a bit, I started leaving them in for a few days until the babies stop chewing on it for a while. I know the babies chew their way out when they hatch and take the nutrients of their eggs to start growing their shells.

I know crayfish eat the shit out of mystery snails, so I was just mulling over the idea of baby crayfish eating the egg clutches. I have to take them down and kill them anyway, since I can't handle hatching hundreds upon hundreds of babies. It seemed like a more natural way to feed them as well as get rid of the babies and I prefer the idea of the babies becoming food rather than just garbage. Maybe it's silly lol it just kind of feels. Better in some way. But this is my first time ever owning crayfish, so I wanted to get advice from people who know better. I don't want to drop the eggs in if it wouldn't be safe.
