Question. I tried looking it up and nowhere says anything about feeding fruits to crayfish, just vegetables. Anything I should avoid?

Need help...is Bijou male or female? I always thought Bijou was male but I'm reading on some posts that males have longer thinner claws?

How long am I supposed to keep the molted shell in the aquarium for?

Hommy molted 2 days ago and has been hiding in her coconut hide. I left her former exo-skeleton in the hide with her. When she poked her head out today, some white fluff came out of the hide. I'm concerned her former shell is decomposing in there with the warmer weather?

Is Bijou male or female? I believed male but not positive anymore due to how the claws look?

Molting or dead?

I know this gets asked a lot and I've searched for answers in this forum.

I have a dwarf Mexican crawfish (was labeled orange lobster when I got him) that we've had a couple years. He's only molted one time since we've had him. He's about 6 inches.

We've recently gotten a much larger tank (cycled and all that) with sand and he loved it was digging and eating and then I noticed he stopped eating and was getting translucent and I moved him into a seperate aquarium because we got new fish and they were picking on him.

He was doing fine in his seperate house, was moving around and climbing on his plants. Then I noticed yesterday about early afternoon he was on his back. I'm not seeing any movement, no gill movement, nothing. He seems more stiff today. I wanted to leave him in case he's taking a while but at what point do I give up?

I'm thinking he's dead. I think he could he be 3 to 5 years old. I feel terrible that I stressed him out :(

Oh btw he doesn't smell dead, it doesn't look like any rot or anything. Initially when on his back he was moving a tiny bit.
