This is my first tank! Waiting to stock it until it finishes cycling. Wanted to post since I was inspired to start one up after finding this subreddit.

Recently our 120 gallon tank started to fail. Luckily we caught it in time. Managed to get everything into a 100 gallon trough.

Then the fun began! After deciding to upgrade to a 210 galleon aqueon we placed an order with our local store.

The first tank showed up with a broken face panel. The second tank we drove directly to the distributor (that same day as we didn't want to wait another week) 5 hours round trip. Guess what that tank was broke!

The third tank showed up, you guessed it broken, so we waited another week.

Meanwhile we used this time to have my brother in law design and fabricate some aluminum light fixtures and plan our tank layout.

The fourth tank showed up, and to our surprise not broken!!

Below is a link to a few photos from the process.

FYI these tanks are heavy😳.

My mom keeps complaining that she has to trim. I wish I had to trim lol.

this 20 gallon definitely needs more plants, but I'm pretty proud of it. my betta is definitely happy with it. I've had it around a month and he's been so much more active than he ever was in his 10 gallon tank.
