I can't get a good photo, and I know there's a post like this almost every day, but I just had to share with people who would understand! I had completely given up on shrimp babies - until I spotted this little shrimplet this morning. So teeny!

Turns out all of my shrimp were female and the order I got Saturday had male(s) in it. My first berried shrimp!

Sister says he's trying to make friends with the shrimp. I disagree STRONGLY

Shrimp suggestions for two new tanks? I already have CRS and Neo's in the green tank.

If I'm using Aquasoil with a buffering capacity, and RO water, Should I remineralize with GH/KH+ or ONLY GH+?

Posted: 29 Apr 2020 12:20 AM PDT

Title.

I use all RO water, and in my planted shrimp tanks I'm using SaltyShrimp GH/KH+, but my substrate is Fluval aquasoil.

Should I be using only GH+, to keep the pH low? When I add the GH/KH+, it raises my pH to about 7.4.
