| Posted: 13 Apr 2020 11:13 PM PDT I've been researching algae-eating inverts, and abalone sound amazing. I've only been able to find limited information on them apart from that. Was wondering, does anyone here have an abalone, and what's your experience with one? [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 14 Apr 2020 01:11 AM PDT Hey guys so I watched all the videos for beginners that you have linked on the info and now I'm just completely overwhelmed and really starting to think this hobby is not for me which really makes me sad. My question is considering these are like 7 year old videos how relative is all of this info now? I literally just want a 20 gallon tank w a few clown fish and some easier corals in it. Do I really need to get all thses controllers and wave makers and reactors and stuff to achieve this? I've been looking at the nano tank and I assumed other than maybe an auto top off it was pretty self sufficient. Also they touched on testing your water and all that but the videos just skipped over the testing. Is that super hard to do? I've watched other YouTube videos about it but I am not sure how reliable those guys are bc I don't really know how much exp they have in salt water tanks vs just trying to pump out YouTube vids to get views and likes. I know you guys get tired of answering basic questions all day but I went from being sure that I want to get into this exciting hobby to very unsure after watching the video series in the sub info. Thank you in advance and stay safe out there during this hard time!!!! [link] [comments] | ||
