Cycle finished but all the stores are closed

Posted: 11 Apr 2020 07:32 PM PDT

So my cycle is now done but I won't be getting any livetock for the foreseeable future. Will I need to feed the bacteria in the tank to keep them from dying off? I have some prawns in the feezer I could use as an amonia source.

New Sebae! Maybe my clown fish will actually take to this guy. My BTA is just not good enough I guess.

Do these tentacles reflect a healthy anemone?

Full tank crash :( After almost 2 years, I got overrun with cyanobacteria after an auto-feeder mishap led to significant overfeeding. Even with a bunch of water changes, I couldn't save it. Lost both clowns, a Tuxedo Urchin, all coral except GSP. It was a good run for a first tank.

For those who use either the Eclipse S or Eclipse M overflow box, how many inches does your water drop in a power outage?

Posted: 11 Apr 2020 07:24 PM PDT

I purchased baffles for a DIY sump and they're rather tall (5 inches from the top of the 29 gallon). The display tank will be a 40B. I'm trying to figure out it I need to shorten the baffles or if that's okay. I know how to go by inches per gallon and such to see if the sump will overflow, but I don't know how many inches the DT will drop.
