| Posted: 18 Apr 2020 11:02 AM PDT So, I have no experience with dwarf crayfish breeding. My female CPO hatched a clutch of eggs at the end of March after laying them the last week of February but the babies disappeared after the first night and must have been eaten. Two weeks ago I moved her to a tank separate from the male CPO. And surprisingly I just saw that she has a bunch of eggs on her today! I've read that they can retain sperm, so I'm hoping they're fertilized. But could she have laid eggs that weren't fertilized? Do they do that? Or do they just not even create any eggs unless they have sperm in them?... Thanks for your knowledge [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 18 Apr 2020 09:25 AM PDT Quick question about feeding for those with more experience. I've been feeding my crays crab cuisine as of late. Not sure how many pellets I should give or how often. One of them has learned to sit on a rock and pray for food when I walk by. Hilarious, but I can't tell if that means he needs more food or not. I want to make sure I'm not overfeeding. All advice is greatly appreciated. [link] [comments] |
