How to pot plants in a koi pond

I've seen a bunch of people asking about potting plants and not making a mess in the pond. I made a video explaining how to use rocks instead of dirt and keeping everything clean: https://youtu.be/4NxwT_oKvRk

Hey so i'd like to have a koi pond in my room and id love advice from people who have koi. Im especially looking for brand names that I should look for when buying food, filters, heaters etc. Also I have a 50 gallon Sterilite bin. Is it suitable for Koi? If so how many can fit in it?

Black and white spots on asagis

Hi y'all, hope everyone is doing well. I noticed some things on my 2 asagis and I was wondering if I could get some help identifying the problem and how to proceed.

As per the title: my asagis have some black spots on them, and one of the seem to have some white spots on its head (I might be imagining this). I've included some before pictures of one of the asagis at the bottom of the roll.

They are in quarantine right now going through a round of praziquantel and metronidozale. Water parameters are tip top, although the water is very hard. They seem to be behaving absolutely fine: socializing fine, eating fine, swimming fine.

p.s. my nails are not dirty, it's just dried epoxy resin paint from a project completed days ago. I haven't scraped it off because I'm a single guy in lockdown with my fish :D
