My koi can’t close it’s mouth. Posted: 27 Apr 2020 12:00 PM PDT My koi doesn't have anything in its throat. I have separated it from the other fish and put it in a tub. My koi is about 6inches if I were to guess. I can close its mouth for it, but when I let go it opens again. I've ran out of ideas. Help!!! [link] [comments]

Can Koi and Goldfish be in the same pond? Posted: 27 Apr 2020 11:41 AM PDT Hey! Currently in the middle of building a pond, 10'x7' and 4' deep. Was wondering if this is big enough for a koi fish? It'll be around 2000 gallons but I'm assuming that once a koi gets 3 feet long, it might not be big enough. I also wanted to know, if it is big enough for koi, can a koi be mixed in with fancy goldfish? The primary purpose of the pond is for assorted fancy goldfish and basically my whole family is wanting to know if a koi or two could be in the mix. If not, that is absolutely fine, I don't want to stunt a koi fish or anything just so my family is content with it because honestly I think that fancy goldfish are just as beautiful, and they would not be stunted because they don't get nearly as large. But koi are stunning fish. Any opinions would be appreciated! [link] [comments]
