- Cardinal shrimp (Caridina dennerli), originally native to Lake Matano of Sulawesi, are feared extinct in the wild and no specimens have been collected since 2013. Their common name comes from their scarlet red color reminiscent of the northern cardinal. They can grow up to 2.5cm/1.0in in length.

Posted: 08 Apr 2020 03:22 AM PDT Hello Reddit, I'm sorry if this post isnt the right place for this. But I just want my voice heard of what this monster did to my childhood fish. And some help or advice of what I should do next. I'm a wreck right now reddit. These goldfish I first got when I was 10 years old, and I've raised them to the age of 10. They were the most beautiful fish I've ever seen. One was the blackest fish I've ever seen, two were beautiful like Japanwse Koi fish with the coolest patterns Ive ever seen, and one white one had the biggest, longest tail I've seen for a relatively small goldfish. Now I'm 20 years old and today I lost all my goldfish by some monster that poured bleach into their tank "becuase the tank smelled bad". I'm not a passionate fish/aquarium enthusiast, but I loved those fish so much, I made sure they had the biggest tank, and healthiest tank possible for them. Only for someone to pour so much bleach that the tank was super cloudy, and I could smell the bleach so much my own nose burned. Their eyes were burnt, their gills were burnt and their insides were destroyed. The night before I cleaned their tank, only for today someone to completely destroy 10 years of love. I walked past these guys everyday from the kitchen to the room. After an hour of gaming, I go to the kitchen just to see all my fish raised to the surface. I'm sorry but right now I don't know what to do, Im sorry for rambling or for potentiality breaking any rules in the subreddit. After rereading my post I just want to end with an explanation, my parrents invited a family member over to eat, whos prone to getting wild when drunk, and we suspect her of doing it, my parents woudnt ever do that to my fish. They knew how much care and love I've given to these guys. They were basically family to me. My final plan with these guys is to bury them, I have a really, really huge plant in my house, would it be a good idea to plant my four slained family members in this plant? I don't know how to handle the bodies of these guys. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated reddit. And again Im sorry for anything bad I've done to the subreddit. I'm sure I left out some information but I'm too turned around right now to think completely straight. Thank you for hearing me out. Quick Edit: Heres two of the four fishes. By far my favourite of the four, but I still loved them all. The smallest one looked gorgeous, magestic when it spread it's huge tail. And the other one that reminded me of Japan and its flag, a giant orange spot in its head surounded by all white. Please don't click this link if you don't want to see dead fishes. https://imgur.com/a/c5PsyTP [link] [comments] | ||
