My love for wild types continues. Can’t wait to see how this baby grows up. Already has interesting markings around the head.

After a few months of trying, 2 tanks that were shattered, a custom stand, and having to downsize. I’m starting to scape my shrimp tank! Any constructive criticism?

Mixing neos

Posted: 03 Mar 2020 10:00 PM PST

Hey SKRIMPPPS friends, I recently just got into the hobby of keeping shrimp and have a well established tank with 5 RCS and 5 Blue Velvets living together in a 10gal. I currently have another 10 Yellow shrimp and 6 Green Jades on the way, and am thinking about mixing them because I have no other tank. I personally don't mind mixing colors but I do know that Future generations will produce weird/dimmer colored shrimp. My question is what is your opinions on mixing neos, and would regular culling ensure beautiful colors be passed on, albeit with some unique color patterns I hope?
