Help me ID this hitchhiker next to the Xenia from Unique Corals?

Since my last post... I took your guys advice and tried to make the joints less noticeable. Now it’s full with sand and cycling. Is API quick start okay? My other light is currently on my old tank in the basement but I’ll bring up with my clownfish and corals when it’s ready. Any tips?

How long was your cycle?

Everyone's got their own way to cycle a tank, but I'm curious: how long did your tank cycle take when you started in the hobby?

Do you ever doubt your RODI plumbing?

Posted: 14 Mar 2020 02:10 PM PDT

I've had my RODI set up for almost a year now and I realized that in several places there are just plastic connectors and tubing holding everything together. If one of those should fail and a line breaks, half of my basement would flood. I know they're design for exactly how I'm using them, but does anyone else get nervous about that?

Any guesses what my little friend here is? It was a pinhead size a couple months ago but it's growing rapidly, and it's not just a blob anymore, it's growing some kind of extension. It was previously possibly identified as galaxea but it was primitive in development then. That's a 3/4" plug.
