Posted: 08 Mar 2020 07:48 PM PDT I took over an aquarium recently and want to rebuild it from the ground up. 40 g bowfront with some poweheads. I bought another whack of livestock that came with about 20 bta and a hammer or frogspawn...not sure. No fish. Intent was to do a invert tank Issue is that the original livestock came with bristle worms, apparently a regular part of cuc, but I have SEEN the bastards devour at least 3 hermits! I've setup traps and pull them out when I can. I don't feed the tank, so that seems like a no brainer to me. Is this something that can be fixed by feeding the tank frozen bloodworms cubes? Are there inverts that will prey on bristles but leave my coral alone? All my research comes up with arrow crabs....which are not entirely reef safe. Advice or guidance? [link] [comments] |
