Recommendation on 5 gal tank heater?

Heaters freak me out because I've had one melt before and I do not want to harm my babies with a cheap one. But I am on a budget. I have a tetra one from a long time ago that has held up but want to get an adjustable one. I have an orlushy heater in my 10gal but I don't like it honestly.
