Any info on stillwater Crayfish in Alabama? Posted: 16 Mar 2020 04:54 PM PDT Hello all! As I've posted before, I have searched all of my towns creeks here in Alabama without seeing a single crayfish, but have had luck in my local park. Here I discovered several burrowing crayfish that lived in little swamps that were formed at the end of creek beds- there were many groups of these crayfish just feet away from the creeks. Today, while I was walking at the park, I saw what has to be the biggest crayfish I have ever seen in one of the ponds. I don't think it was of the same species, as it had different claws and different coloration. Any info on stillwater crayfish species? I knew of creek and burrower species, but this blew my mind. Question about cuttle fish bone Posted: 16 Mar 2020 04:16 PM PDT If you use cuttle fish bone to supplement calcium. Is the cuttle bone suppose to almost dissolve in the water? The whole piece i put in didnt but some looks like it just dissolved. [link] [comments] |
