Update on my baby blue velvets! They’re starting to really take colour. Much easier to see in the tank from when they were clear.
Is this beauty a cherry or something else?!
Got busy and haven't done anything but feed and top off the cull tank for about a month. Everyone's looking happy though!

Question on Jade Neo colonies

So, I've been looking into getting started with a Jade colony but I'm honestly confused. As I understand, Jades come from Chocolate-Blue Dream-Yellow lineages. As such they're not quite stable and can throw a lot of weird shrimplets. Normally with my colony of pumpkin-orange neos I wait to cull adult and sub-adult-ish sized shrimp. Mostly cause after that adult molt they show more of their color. Should I do the same with the Jades? From what some folks have shown, young blue dreams and yellows can molt out to jades as they age.

So waiting to cull after the adult color-up would make sense?
