I have a pre filter sponge and I've blocked off the hole half-way down the filter compartment on the backside with a piece of sponge. I just did tank maintenance and found 4 infant shrimp living on top of my pump.

Did I miss a hole I need to block!? I even have a sponge restricting the outflow on the pump.
