Berried Crayfish

I know that after crayfish gets berried you should replace male, but male of my berried crayfish is hiding inside the same cave with her, is it normal behaviour? Is he protecting her ?

How much/often should I feed my cray?

Posted: 25 Feb 2020 08:15 AM PST

Hi so I've been feeding my cray 3 crab cuisine pellets twice a day and there's always this gross residue left on the gravel because of it breaking down and dissolving. Would it be okay if I only fed him once a day or no? I don't want to starve the little guy but it gets so gross because of the uneaten food. Or is there other types of food you recommend I should feed him that might help my situation?

Hello, so finally after long 6 months of waiting, one of my crayfish got berried, i just would like to ask how long it takes to see If eggs are fertile? Now they look like Milk cream.
