Posted: 06 Feb 2020 08:28 AM PST The official state of the cray, now that he is home, and a plea for advice if anyone has seen any of this behavior before. Missing one antennae. Almost completely brown. Back set of legs just... don't work? He drags them and walks with the front sets. Behavior is...erratic to say the least. He's violently obsessed with one corner of the tank, for no reason. He throws himself against the glass over there and ends up upside down or sideways. He's not trying to climb it - and if he was needing or wanting to get up there's a plant he could use but he won't. I'm super confused about this. He's afraid of his own cave? He spent a long time going halfway inside, then suddenly backing out and making several laps of the tank, slowly approach the second door, halfway in, back out, several laps, first door, and so on. I feel like every few hours he gives it a shot but he has yet to actually go inside the cave. I feel like it would help him so much to hide and relax for a minute but he will not go in. Why is he afraid of the hiding spot? [link] [comments] |
