Does anyone know where to get axolotl eggs? Posted: 13 Feb 2020 08:31 AM PST I've been interested in raising up some axolotls for awhile but I'm not interested in breeding currently. [link] [comments]
Posted: 13 Feb 2020 08:21 AM PST I have 5 baby axolotls in a 20 gal tank I added a few guppies from PetSmart and two died in the first night. We removed the remaining guppies out of the tank but now one of the babies has a dark red vein across its body and was upside down. I took it out of the tank and it's right side up in but is not looking good. Do I need to do a complete cleaning of the tank and cycle all over again or can I just do large water changes? Any advise is helpful! [link] [comments]

Posted: 12 Feb 2020 06:48 PM PST Hey guys, i have just purchased my first axolotl, he's medium sized in a fully cycled 70L aquarium, However i have a gravel substrate and i am worried about him eating it.. How do you guys propose i change the substrate with him in there? i don't want to cycle the aquarium again with him in there. i do have used silica sand i could use but unsure how to recycle it as its been out of the tank for a while.
