Tik Tok user darlapearl has been abusing her axolotls. She justifies her actions by saying "as long as they are in shallow water, they're fine". This water is clearly too fast for them.

Hello, i would like to ask for advice from some more experienced axolotl owners.

I had two axolotls for 3 years, everything was going fine, but one of them has died. I do not really know what happened he was fine all the time but then his gills started to "fade" and then in a week he was dead (the tank was clean,cleaned it multiple times really proper...and the second axolotl has no problems) .

When I got them, I was told they are not happy alone in a tank so i should get two or more.

So my question is, can the axolotl get used to a new friend? Won't they fight?
