How does one make snello? Any recipes?

Posted: 24 Feb 2020 08:21 AM PST

It's hard for me to find a good snello recipe online, does anyone have one that will work?

I brought home a mystery with a really damaged shell and was hoping the snello would help

HELP! BABY MYSTERY SNAILS BUT NO EGGS?

Posted: 24 Feb 2020 12:13 PM PST

Woke up this morning only to find that there are baby mystery snails in my tank but eggs are no where to be found. There's at least 12 babies and what looks to be daphnia in my tank as well.

I'll start by talking about my tank. I started off with two gold mystery snails in a large 5 gal bowl when I first got them. Kept them there for a few months, then I upgraded their tank to a 10 gal and ended up purchasing two more mystery snails along with a Brazil sword, and some duckweed to add to their tank.

Also please note! This is my first time having Mystery snails so any and all criticism/advice is welcome.

Thank you!

What's the best filter for ramshorn?

Posted: 24 Feb 2020 10:19 AM PST

I have a 1gal and a 2.5 or 3 gal on the way (saving up for it.)

I have 1 ramshorn, it laid eggs. Reddit was not kidding when you said they poop alot-and I'm barely feeding it outside food.

I'm not sure my diy sponge filter is doing much be beyond keeping small particulates down. Which, it's not bad for an ex-gum dispenser.

I'm looking for suggestions for filters that can deal with the poop. If anyone has suggestions for ones that run on an air pump that would be great.

Thank you!
