Reef Tank - Aquariums - Hi! I work for an org that runs the world’s largest living coral reef aquarium, based in Aus. The main tank is 2.5M litres with 120+ species of coral from the Great Barrier Reef. Here’s a vid I took of a very friendly Emporer Angelfish. Happy to take photos or vids of specific corals/fish if wanted.

Why is my war coral (coral in the back) dying?? And my trumpet coral is losing its green center. The hammer seems to be fine and the zoanthids are as well, and the chalice not shown. Could it be the temp swing caused by the 3 gallon to 10 gallon tank change??

[Help] 20 Long Wave Maker Too Strong

Posted: 18 Jan 2020 11:12 PM PST

Hi all,

I recently set up my first tank and today finally got some coral and fish for the tank. I have the Jebao SOW-8 pump for making waves, but this pump is too strong even on its lowest setting. My little clown fish are unable to swim around because of the waves. Does anyone have any recommendations for a less strong pump so that my coral and fish can both thrive?

Thanks in advance!

Naso Tang looks like he’s not feeling so good. Everyone else in the tank seems to be doing good. Again my son and I are new at this and learning. We do have a hospital tank we have set up in the past with success. Any advice and direction would be greatly appreciated.
