The 5 gallon I’ve been working on for my future betta!
Moving sucks... but it’s done and my two tanks look awesome in the new kitchen! This is also my way of procrastinating unpacking.
My beautiful dragon scale boy Caesar can’t wait for some live plants
Is this because of marble gene? Top pic is 22nd November 2019 and bottom pic is 8th January 2020.

This little guy couldn't swim a few days ago and had no color. He's doing great now! What a change a little TLC can make.
This is my betta Gerald. I came across this little guy while working at a pet store and the bag he came in was almost empty so I decided to take him home.

I was sold a Betta at what I thought was a reputable aquatic store. Wanted to sleep on it and do my research but before I knew it, the fish was on the counter and I felt obliged to buy him. I also bought a 'betta setup' which I assumed would be suitable due to massive amounts of misinformation. Luckily, my research skills are pretty hot and I learnt very quickly about recommended size of tank, the nitrogen cycle, recommended temp etc. I've just released him into his new 5.5 gallon heated, filtered tank and he's swimming about happily. I don't think he was at 100% when I got him as his fins seemed to have been nipped and may have rotted slightly. I also have to now do a fish in cycle with prime and a bacteria booster as I refused to keep him in the 1 gallon 'tank' he was in any longer. If this guy pulls through and thrives, I'll consider all my hours and money spent more than worth it. I've used this sub a few times for reference so thank you for all of your wonderful content and I'll make sure to drop pics in when he's looking better. I'll continue with water changes and heavy research for now. Fingers crossed. I love you, Ghost <3
