- FTS Friday. NUVO 40 at 17 months! Mixed reef.
- New tank things
- I moved my tank and set it up as a peninsula, best decision I've ever made.
- My LPS dominant IM 25 Lagoon. Reefing in a nano has been one of the most challenging yet satisfying things I have done to date!
- After years of owning a nano FOWLR, I added my first coral, and it really feels like successfully colonizing a new planet
- Tank finally recovered from a crash while I was working OT. Three of my zoa colonies are happy! The nirvana plays are blending in below the blue green Zoas.
- Pre-black Friday deal at LFS, 65 gallon aqueon megaflow, sump, and stand (not pictured) for 500$
- Charting 30 days of growth on my WD
- Cool Hitchhiker find on new frag. Mini Brittle Star.
- Found this weird White stuff in my reef tank. What is this stuff and how do I get rid of it. I siphoned out most of it but can’t tell if it’s bacteria or bad algae.
- Finally got round to lighting my sump. Energiser controlled LEDs :) skimmer is Bubble magus Curve 5 #OverKill
- Just received my PAR meter! Pre black friday sale.
- A lot of you will see this is a dumb question... Nitrates and Phosphates high?

- I kow my tank isnt a reef but i need help to identify this algae.

| Weekly quick asks thread - November 22, 2019 Posted: 22 Nov 2019 05:11 AM PST Here is the place to post questions about pest ID, coral/fish ID, your cycle, or any other questions that generally wouldn't start up a conversation. If you have an interesting or unique question please create a new thread so everyone can discuss it in length! These are some great resources for ID's of pests/algae. [link] [comments] | ||

| A lot of you will see this is a dumb question... Nitrates and Phosphates high? Posted: 23 Nov 2019 12:10 AM PST Now, I know nitrates and phosphates are better the lower they are. I did a 40% change WC yesterday, checked chemistry today. Both nitrates and phosphates are at 2ppm. Not sure if it matters but I did stir up all the detritus with a turkey baster to help siphon it out. I also had not fed the tank between when I did WC and when I tested chemistry. When I did feed I fed mysis and artemia, only so much as will be consumed entirely within 5 mins... I also added phos guard, carbon, prime and stability when I did the WC do I just need to wait longer to see if they drop further? They were at 8ppm and 4ppm a few weeks ago when I first got the tank (as an established system), so I'm getting there... [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 22 Nov 2019 06:13 PM PST So I finally think I id'd the worm in my display, about 6 inch bobbit worm. I should remove it, right? It hides in the rocks, and when it stretched out of it I couldn't grab it quick enough. Any ideas? Thank you [link] [comments] | ||

| My fluval evo 13.5 has been set up for just over 2 months Posted: 22 Nov 2019 03:06 PM PST I already have a gsp frag glued to the tank wall , I bought a bam bam zoa which has grown . and more corals coming( fire and ice zoa colony, yellow submarine zoa colony and a blood red mushroom frag) my question is, would I be ok keeping some easy to keep SPS like montis I have a hipagero LED light so its more than capable . I know I will probably never be able to get an anemone because my tank is too small but what do you guys recommend sps wise in the future ? [link] [comments] |
