| Posted: 23 Nov 2019 09:06 PM PST I have a $200 budget for an RODI system. I was using the Aquatic Life RO Buddie for about a year but now that I've moved I now have space for an upgrade. Any recommendations? I'm currently looking at the AquaFX RO/DI Barracuda. Any one have experience with this one? Also, my husband is pushing for a system that produces a very low RO to waste water ratio. It's his main concern. [link] [comments] | ||
| My toadstool has a feather duster on each side of its base. Is this potentially harmful to it? Posted: 23 Nov 2019 04:17 PM PST These were not there when I first received the frag, I can only assume they were planted there by a snails shell. It is definitely a feather duster and not aptasia. | Hey guys... weird question... but why do my corals look fluffier all of a sudden? Posted: 23 Nov 2019 12:11 PM PST Ok so did a big WC not last night but the night before, scrapped the glass, even vacuumed up detritus, rechecked chemistry yesterday and was happy to see phosphate and nitrate had both dropped to 2ppm. Also started running carbon, dosed with Prime and Stability... Anyway, come out to turn the lights on and feed the tank this morning (it's 7am here) and I noticed a few of the meatier corals and even the plating Monty are looking 'fluffy' like they're all puffed up... So it this good? Or am I about to loose my favourites... Logic says receding = bad so therefore puffy = happy? Also thank you in advance guys your help has been so valuable to get me through this crash course in reefing. [link] [comments] |
