• Looks like someone else in the house appreciates planted tanks...
• First CO2 tank almost 2 months old! ADA 45-P
• My 3 bushes of rotala are finally starting to turn their respective colors. (From back to front: rotala indica, rotala vietnam, rotala colorata).
• This was the tank which got me hooked into the hobby :) . Wanted to share my first planted 29G. Not much of an aquascape but more of a jungle tbh
• Vacation starts now!
• My two 10Gs side by side
• Winter Home for pond guppies. Walstad planters.
• Buce sp. Green with Marble Variegation
• Changed a lot in the last few months. For better or for worse? I love it. (Original scape in comments)
• Now to let it cycle..
• My first planted tank, 3 weeks into the hobby.
• Please help me improve my tank to your levels tank gods!
• The 30G Jungle- after 6 months it's coming together
• I had no idea this stuff flowered.
• Tank update!! Its crazy how much can change in 5 months.
• Does anyone have suggestions for what plants I can add to my tank? I feel like there’s too little of them. I already have a few in mind, dwarf hair grass for the carpet, maybe Monte Carlo, I want to change the top floating plants because theirs roots are way too long and crypts but idk what species.
• Newbie here, my Jungle Val is having leaves that look like they're melting/dying and some of healthier ones are going transparent at the tips. What is happening and how can I fix it? Should I cut off the dead/dying leaves?
• Rotala ramosior 'Cramer' along freshly planted Hygrophila 'Chai'
• Found this strange bug in my tank, what the hell is it? Came from inside a plant

need help choosing a good light Posted: 26 Nov 2019 08:04 PM PST in about an hour, i'll go to the store to get my tanks and co2 and substrate. the only thing missing is the lights, its a 10 gallon tank 50x26x30cm in size, before i used to have a chihiros a plus 45cm but i think that was an overkill for a 10 gallon, im confused by the bazillion of google results for plant lighting. so basically put, i want to grow some red rotallas and carpet a monte carlo along with some anubias nana. can i make do with those chinese lights that says its 12 watts at 5750 rating? submitted by /u/sutkidar [link] [comments]

(SOS) - Nearly 40 live plants suddenly shipped, with no filter available Posted: 26 Nov 2019 05:34 PM PST With so many Black Friday sales going on, I found a deal that was too good to pass up and ordered 40 live plants to be delivered this weekend for my 75-gallon tank. Unfortunately, due to circumstances outside of my control, I won't be able to secure a filter before the plants arrive. Is it possible to plant and flood the tank and not cause damage to the plants? I plan on injecting CO2 with the aid of a powerhead to dissolve the CO2 throughout the water. Will this work long enough for the filter to arrive?
