• The 5 gal looking crisp after a waterchange
• Here’s my little box of nature, just over the three month mark
• Is there an alternative to using Seachem Flourish Nitrogen? It has been an essential element over the past year to what you see. It’s time to order again. I also use C+, PO4, FE, flourish, excel, eqlbrim, and prime. Oh has always been steady.
• Week 2 of the dry start. Give it up for week 2!
• Just sharing this I took of josh sims tank other day
• Low tech pearling. Very happy with my box of life.
• Finally added some driftwood back after clearing some plants out. Need to make room for more and the seiryu Stone.
• I went for it, wish me luck!
• My tank 2 months in!
• The New 45 gallon.
• No filter, going well so far
• It’s nothing fancy but I love it. Low tech 40 gallon.
• 20 gallon, getting ready to scape it properly tomorrow
• My easy plants tank, these Anubias are straight up crazy!!
• Day One! Just finished this scape after my LFS store let me buy the tank a week early but still with the black Friday deal! Whoo-hoo! Cycling it for my recovering betta ��
• My vampire crab coming out of his cave for some frozen daphnia
• My 15 gallon planted nano predator tank
• One month into the new 10gallon, what do y’all think?
• Jungle.
• 10 G walstad. No filter. Only heater
• Has anyone tried mixing gravel and sand for substrate?
• Can anyone ID this plant?
• Plant ID?
• First planted tank
• No idea where to go from this point, not even sure if this is any good. Please send help!

Has anyone tried mixing gravel and sand for substrate? Posted: 24 Nov 2019 10:52 PM PST Hello, I am starting up a tank and am considering using both sand and gravel as the top layer of my substrate, but keeping them (mostly) separate. I was thinking of putting the bigger gravel substrate closer to the centerpiece rocks in my tank, and surrounding that with a similarly colored sand with some light gravel scattered throughout.
