Update on the hobbit house
theyre not great, but theyre my pride&joy rn. snails are in all of them, and a pale green assassin bug nymph is in the jack bottle. i have 3 leopard ramshorn snails in the 1 gal jar. theres also tiny mushrooms in the smaller jars, i think t. nigripes??

Dechlorinated water

How can you tell if you have successfully dechlorinated tap water? I boiled a gallon for 20 mins and left it in the pot uncovered overnight, and the pot had a white ring around where the water was sitting. I then poured it into a container but I'm still not sure it's safe for an aquarium. How can I tell?
