Posted: 24 Nov 2019 05:08 PM PST I'm working on my first sealed terrarium and am making my own substrate. I was told that it should be one part soil, one part bark, one part sand, and two parts moss. However, after just adding half the moss the substrate looked like it had almost no soil. To fix this I decided to only one part moss and two parts soil. I know there is "correct" way to build substrate but I just wanted an outside opinion. Here is a picture of the finished substrate. [link] [comments] |
