Medium to large system, 0 tds water, and 10% Weekly water changes. No dosing, simple sump with chaeto and media bags. Took me 8 years to understand the routine.

Turbo Start

How long does it take until you can add fish? How fast is instant? I've read so many forums of people using this stuff and they're adding fish hours later. For the price and the reviews I'm sold but I want others opinions first. So what do you think?

I'm starting a 10-20 gallon soon (we haven't made up our minds yet) and I want to know if I can actually add fish this fast. We will be using live rock so will that affect it? If so is it good or bad?

Thanks!

Tank Crashing?

Posted: 20 Oct 2019 10:54 PM PDT

So I have a 7 month old IM Nuvo 10g aquarium a couple days yesterday my clown passed due to my ammonia being too high and now my parameters are going nuts. Ive been doing small water changes every day for the last week since I noticed the issue. My bubble tip and zoa colony seem to be unaffected.

PH 7.8

Ammonia .25

Nitrite 2.0

Nitrate 80

Cycling question

Posted: 20 Oct 2019 10:32 PM PDT

I am at the final stage of my cycle where I am getting traces of nitrates

Due to my job I have access to an unlimited supply of concentrated ammonia (around 45%) as Australia is hard to get your hands on.

Long story short I used too much and am getting levels of 8+ ppms and high nitrites

Should I just leave it, or should I do a huge water change?

Are barnacles common hitch hikers in the reef aquarium world? / is this a barnacle?
