Still in the process of setting up my shrimp tank aside from sponge filters (which I will be getting soon) is there anything else I should directly in the tank?

The babies are getting big!

Does this look like a pregnant shrimp? A few days ago, she was fanning them and the eggs looked like a really light, kinda opaque look. Now they are dark and she’s not really keeping them moving. I pulled it out of the main tank since it’s a community tank and this is my first hopeful shrimp hatch.

Still working on it. 10 gallon with 12 ghost shrimp and a quad of cherries.

Am I seeing what I think I'm seeing?

Really excited to finally get some shrimp once I'm done setting this tank up! I'm planning on either red, orange, and/or yellow neos.

Started off with just a few extremely low grade cherries, but they made some red, some transparent, and some super yellow babies like this guy who is all grown up now! genetics!

Update on the flex! +added some RCS from my other tank that was overflowing with them. But I think my Ram has been hunting them out. Oops!

is it necessary to introduce food when there's tons of natural food in the tank?

Posted: 16 Sep 2019 05:02 PM PDT

I have three Amono shrimp right now and my tank is still full of tons of algae, diatoms and biofilm. Is it necessary for me to add any food at this point? I've had them for over a week now and they seem fine.

Which natural products do you feed to your shrimps?

Hi shrimp admirers 🦐 I would like to bring more diversity into my Neocaridina's menu. I was therefore also wondering if anyone has tried to give them ginger. Mine get peppermint leaves, stinging nettle, dried paprika powder, zucchini, pollen. Have a shrimping good day 😊!
