I have 3 female BMS, what happens if I add some yellow males? (what will the baby shrimp look like?)

You can't see the darker red as well with my new scape so I'm going to get some yellow shrimpies :)

TDS?

Posted: 28 Sep 2019 10:46 PM PDT

So I ended up getting a tds reader to check my water, and it turns out that its 340 out of the tap!!! And same in my tank. Is this bad? Should I mix in RO water to reduce this? I'm just afraid of messing up my KH too much, it's pretty high and my Ph is alright so I dont want to cause catastrophic issues for my shrimp! Any advice is appreciated

Pregnant shrimp with ICH?

Posted: 28 Sep 2019 10:12 PM PDT

I just added 3 shrimp to my 5 gallon betta fish tank. And one is pregnant. But I noticed that she has white spots on her that may look like ICH but I know that since shrimp have exoskeleton and can't really get ICH! Help!!

Anyone else's shrimp get more colorful during feeding time?

Posted: 28 Sep 2019 05:52 PM PDT

I noticed that my shrimp get a lot deeper color when I plop some food in for them. I don't think my food has any thing in particular to enhance the colors artificially, so I'm curious to know if other people have noticed this with their shrimp.
