Are these a high risk palythoa? I really like the look of them but the idea of dealing with palytoxin freaks me out. They are all over my tank so removing them will be difficult.

Active nano fish?

Posted: 21 Sep 2019 11:47 PM PDT

I have a 20G tank with a Pygmy hawk fish and a fire fish. What's a nice active fish to add to the bunch.

What's the meanest fish in your tank?

Posted: 21 Sep 2019 08:36 AM PDT

I'm asking this because I feel like mine is pretty unusual. The "boss" of the tank for me is my firefish. He's kicked the ass of every other fish in the tank, the royal gramma, the clown, and both my banggai cardinals. Tattered fins on all of them and they avoid him like the plague. I heard firefish are really timid and easily bullied, but jesus I have never seen a more aggressive fish. The royal gramma is missing an entire pelvic fin and half his tail, one of the banggai is tattered and super shy now, and the clown is a fair bit worse for wear. When the firefish is not hiding, every other fish avoids the middle of the tank, which is his territory. If they go even slightly too close he chases them into a corner and wails on them. It's insane.

So I ask you, fellow reef keepers: what is your most aggressive fish, and do any of yall have an experience like mine?

Best Black Ich treatment?

Posted: 21 Sep 2019 07:30 PM PDT

My clown "philthy Phil Philips" is starting the get black spots on him I have no coral or nems in the tank, so making the assumption. Will general Ich treatment work or do I need something specific?
