How big are your axolotl and how often/what do you feed? Anything besides worms? Also did the amount and frequency change as they got older?

I have 2 axolotls in a tank, their names are poco and loco. Loco's skin is been pealing for about a week now while Poco's skin looks fine. With Loco's skin, one day it would look really bad and the next day it would look normal. I wouldn't assume it's the quality of the water because I had tested it last week and it looked fine. Also his behaviour isn't off, he is still eating and acting as he usually would. Just wondering is he definitely is shedding, and if so how long will this go for?

Beginning! Looking for reputable Axolotls in the Seattle area

My boyfriend and I are new to axolotls. I have been caring for fresh water fish for a long while now, but he would like to join my hobbies with an axolotl. We've both done research and have a 20L tank cycling for it.

We have a few mom and pop shops with axolotls but they are all albino, and we are interested in a wild, gfp, or a mosaic one.

I'm hoping for some recommendations if anyone is in this area as I've had a hard time just looking up "Seattle axolotls"

My axolotl floating

I recently got my axolotl (Ponyo) and Im a bit stressed out because she a baby (idk what age but she about an inch) and she is only floating on the top of the water. When I poured a bit of water on top of her she gets pushed downward but it almost like she swims to the top. I treated the water with destressant and have a low flow filter. Any suggestions?

Is it ok to pet an axolotl?

When I do get an axolotl, would it be safe if I interacted with them from time to time (inside the water of course) or would it damage their skin?
