Unidentified Microorganisms

Hey all, hoping you can help me identify some unidentified microorganisms and let me know if they are a problem or not. I plan on giving the tank one more big gravel cleaning and using the water between two tanks; a 20 gal for my blue crayfish, and a 29 gal for my apple snails that just bred and a community of fishies eventually. I already know I have detritus worms which are actually beneficial; my concern is the tiny white specks all over. I think they might be rotifers? I have already determined they aren't baby planaria so a sigh of relief. Sorry for the cloudy nature of the tank (though that aided in seeing them), I just did a big cleaning and literally just learned how to do proper cleanings and what aquarium filters actually do.

Some info on the creatures:
1.) Tiny and white, can make out no detail with the naked eye except they are shaped kind of like cumin seeds or tiny silverfish with no legs and are smaller than a pinhead. In the video, I can sometimes see two antenna-like things on its front.

2.) They like to crawl on the glass, and are super fast. Sometimes they let go and are swept by the current only to reattach to the glass. Interesting behavior.

3.) I have seen some of the "bigger" ones try to chase or "nip?" at the smaller ones. not sure if they are trying to identify them, communicate with them or eat them.

Thanks so much for your help, I really appreciate it!

What do hatched snail eggs look like?

Posted: 23 Sep 2019 09:49 AM PDT

I have a mystery snail with some other tank mates (dwarf gourami, zebra danios, neon tetras, 2 plecos). I have no interest in hatching more snails, but I realized today that there is a clutch. I was out of town for two weeks and the tank was under my moms care, who didn't top off the water. I have no idea when it was laid, but half of the eggs seem to be broken out of. The whole clutch is dry now, so I don't think anymore will hatch if they have already. Any advice on how long it will be before I see baby snails ( if there are any)?
