| Posted: 14 Aug 2019 10:49 AM PDT I notice that my mystery snail (1 inch large) only eats food on mondays but i have been trying to make sure he has food whenever available. As such i feel it would probably be safe to only offer him food once a week from now on, How often do your guy's snails eat? It should be noted that my tank water is 20-21 degrees Celsius as this has an effect on their metabolism. Also i will be adding nerite snails soon, will they eat the white algae off the newly added driftwood? [link] [comments]  | ||
| Posted: 14 Aug 2019 07:10 PM PDT So my mystery snails somehow managed to pull one over on me and a clutch hatched so now I am raising some babies. I am curious as to when you can tell what colors they are going to be. Also I have a slight understanding as to how genetics works and I am interested if each snail in the clutch has a different color possibility (obviously based off of the parents coloring) or if the whole clutch will be the same color. Any advice or knowledge would be fantastic! If it helps we know the father is a black mystery and the mother is either a blue or yellow. [link] [comments]  | ||
