My 5 Gallon Pico Reef

So my tailspot blenny, Benny, killed my firefish, Lola, less than 12 hours after I introduced her into the tank. Meet Luna. She'll be going into an acclimation box after the quarantine tank so Benny won't be a jerk again.

Very proud of how this is turning out. Moved from a 4 to this 10 gallon without losing any livestock.

I think maybe my hermit ripped it. What should I expect? Will it die or split into a bunch of babies? Fingers crossed for a bunch of babies.

Screen cover for a bow front?

Posted: 04 May 2019 08:13 PM PDT

Hey guys, I have a 36 gallon bow front and I wanted to to make a screen cover to place on the top to prevent fish from jumping out. Does anyone here know anyone that can make it and ship to California? If not, any DIY guides?

[Help] Question regarding current aquascape

Posted: 04 May 2019 07:53 PM PDT

Hello everyone. I was hoping to get some input from some of you that have been doing this a while in regards to my current aquascape in relation to having coral in the future.

I'm brand new to saltwater tanks, and my 90 gallon is nearing the end of it's cycle. I started questioning myself when it came to how the rocks were setup, and thought I'd reach out to get some options on whether or not things need to be changed around.

I have two main concerns:

  1. Will the current "shelfs", and layout of rock, I have be ideal for coral?
  2. I have one dry rock arch that I'm not sure if I should be worried about. It's pictured in the Imgur album, and my concern point is circled in red. All of these rocks are based on the glass, and they are all solid in terms of not moving at all, however this one's base is resting on a singular "point" on it's right side. Is this something that could be problematic in the future or is it okay?

I've included a front profile shot, as well as a side, to gather feedback on whether or not something should be addressed. Thank you so much for the help! This sub is a treasure trove of knowledge that's really helped me along my way.

Black ich. Not sure what to do.

Posted: 04 May 2019 02:37 PM PDT

My clownfish has some black dots around the gills and pectoral fins. It looks surely to be black ich or black spot disease. I won't be able to quarantine until tomorrow. Any suggestions? I've never dealt with this disease in my 2 years of reefing.
