Lingering Seachem Prime smells Posted: 22 May 2019 12:47 AM PDT Do you guys ever use your seachem prime, close it up and store it away, yet still be able to smell that rotten egg smell for the next few hours?? I'm trying to sleep and the smell has been bothering me! Has my bottle gone bad or something? [link] [comments]

Do I have to re-dose the water when I do a water change? Posted: 21 May 2019 07:43 PM PDT So I just picked up 2 bottles from Petco: Biological Booster and Water Conditioner. I put 10 drops of each per gallon of water. So when I started it last week, I put in 50 drops of each because my tank is 5 gallons. But now the water is a bit cloudy due to I assume the substrate and potting soil layers. I'd like to do a water change, but I'm not sure if I should add more drops based on how much water I add in? So first, how big of a water change should I do? (I have only a branch and substrate in the water, no plants or fish yet) And then should I add more drops of each after doing the water change? (I'm guessing if I do a half water change, that'd be 2.5 gallons, and so I'd add 25 drops of each bottle, correct?) Thanks for the help! [link] [comments]
Looking For Light Recommendations Posted: 21 May 2019 09:59 PM PDT What lights would y'all recommend for a 20 gallon long (36"x12"x12") that would get me to high PAR rating? It's mostly because I like really well lit aquariums but also because I'd like to have the option of growing any plants without light being a limiting factor. [link] [comments]
Posted: 21 May 2019 09:50 PM PDT I just picked up a fluval spec 3 for cheap and want to upgrade the light to grow low tech plants. What would you recommend for this small 2.6g nano tank? [link] [comments]

Posted: 21 May 2019 09:05 PM PDT Hey, Was hoping someone could help me ID a plant. I figure it's some kind of ludwigia but the coloring isn't as strong as ludwigia repens. I do have low light, though, so maybe that's why(?) Thanks!! [link] [comments] |
