Please help me get get rid of this algae! It’s growing so fast even though my lighting, CO2, and ferts are all dosed at normal rates. Someone mentioned that the algae is spirogyra. What is the best way to tackle this problem?

My first planted tank (yet another beginner)

In all of my years of taking care of aquariums I always resorted to plastic plants. I really couldn't tell you why. That all changed this past month when I decided to try a planted tank for the first time. Starting off with the 5 gallon tank I got for my Betta. Don't know why I never did this sooner. Well, here's a picture of the tank. (The rocks and grass behind the driftwood is just a background graphic)

Also, since this picture has been taken, I've already trimmed the anacharis and put the stems in my 36 gallon tank that I hope to convert from plastic plants to all planted.
