| Posted: 06 May 2019 11:35 PM PDT Hello! I'm currently a few days into the cycling phase and I'm wondering if it's possible to start introducing shrimps into my tank at this point. Also, I noticed last 2 days my ammonia was at 0.25ppm, nitrite was 0.25ppm but I didn't take the nitrate test. Yesterday, my ammonia was at 0.5ppm, nitrite was 0ppm and nitrate was 0ppm. Was wondering where could have that nitrite gone to as my nitrate was at 0. Absorbed by plants maybe? Can I and should I do water changes during the cycling phase? My water pH is hovering around 7-7.2 and average water temp is around 26 degC without a heater. TIA!
