- Anybody know how to get rid of this white stuff growing on my moss?
- Is dehumidifier water safe?
- 1 gallon aquarium with some fine gravel and threw some old aquarium filter floss in there with lots of algae on it . I’ve let it sit for about 3 weeks just stagnant water. I added some bladder snails when I set it up. Only about 7. I now I have loads of snails and these little things . Look closely

Posted: 24 May 2019 05:55 AM PDT I'm kinda new to this (lurker) but I'm planning to make a Jarrarium with some critters, and was considering alternative sources of water as I don't trust the pipes for my own drinking water. I already use the water straight from my dehumidifier to water all my normie soil plants and they're doing just fine. So makes me think why not? What kind of tests can I do apart from ph, chlorine, ammonia? Would it even contain those things? I can get some aquarium water from a friend to cycle the water before adding the critters? (Wanna get shrimp, maybe a slug or snails, a tiny fish would be cool, or goldfish or...?) Any tips are greatly appreciated :) Edit: What about catfish? [link] [comments] | ||
