I just got these new goldfish (I think they are comet) and I added them to pond water (after consulting with the lady at petco and acclimating them) I just wanna know— do they look like they are gasping or lacking oxygen? If they are what should I do?
Help Please! What am I? Oranda? Fantail/Ryukin?

Help with goldfish

Stats: Nitrite 0 ppm, Ammonia 0 ppm, Nitrate 20 ppm (one week since last 25% water change), Ph 7.2

10 gal tank 1yo Common Goldfish (only fish in tank), 2 inches Airstone Rock Substrate Artificial plants

Diet: alternating diet every 2-3 days - flakes, peas, Bug Bites Tropical Formula. Just a pinch

Water temp 71°

I have had this fish for about a year - he has been fine but in the last week, he has become very lethargic, sometimes staying in one spot for hours and hours. He has also developed some very soft blackish blotting. With the ammonia at 0 ppm, Im fairly sure these are not ammonia burns.

He has started losing some color and I fear he is ill - he is still responsive to food and will swim around for an hour or so after feeding.

Any thoughts, advice or suggestions would be appreciated - pics available if needed! Thank you!
