Going from Sand to Bare Bottom tank

Posted: 09 May 2019 03:42 PM PDT

So I currently have an axie in a sand tank. I want to possibly go to a bare bottom tank just because it I'd easier to clean. Should I do this, or will this stress out my axie? If I should, how should I got about it?

Axolotl curved tail.

Hi r/axolotl. since I had my axolotl the gills have been curling forward. All of the water's parameters are as they should be, however, ph is about 7.2. There is not much / almost no current in the water. It also does not show any additional signs of stress as curly tail, or bloodshot tail. It eats lots of food and grows well. Since i started to feet hun worns, the poop looks like dirt, its really flat. But can't help thinking about whether something is wrong?
