New to this sub but I’ve had a couple mystery snails in the past in with my Betta. They never seem to last more than a week???

I check the parameters every few days and do 10-25% partial water changes as needed. I have a cuttle bone in the tank to supplement calcium and I have algae wafers to feed the snails. Despite all of this my snails never survive more than a week while the Betta has been thriving. What am I doing wrong?

Edit: forgot to mention this is a 5 gallon planted tank with lights, filter, heater

Tadpole snail advice?

Hey there,

I want to start breeding tadpole snails,I know most snails do a pretty good job of multiplying on their own ahah, but was wondering if I could do anything to help them along? I have about 20 of them in their own little planted tank.
