- Meet Fat Bastard.
- One of my LFS. Beautiful place, beautiful price too. Can put two holes in your bank account.
- Entry 1 of my fish keeping journal
- They like to hang out in the corner and beg for food
- Just got them hung! Can't wait to add more.
- These guys are tough to catch on camera
- At least somebody loves water change day
- “The pioneers used to ride these babies for mile!”
- Empire Gudgeon displaying
- All the other oddballs in this community tank.
- Found stand for $5, 29g tank for $20. Everything else were left overs from when I upgraded my other tank. Had to buy some extra gravel to put on top of the dirt. I'd say a pretty good tank for $50!
- Blue tang (teddy) at my LFS is very bored in his 180.
- Unadvertised use of prime that you should all be aware of: super glue remover.
- I can’t be the only one keeping a photo diary of tank grow progress? Got a shock to see how much she has grown up in four months after a take down and rebuild.
- Just discovered the first Male guppy I got has a heart on his side. I've had him for quite some time so I'm not sure how I missed this!
- He's starting to get a little chonky...I guess it might be time to get him some bigger hiding spots.
- Tonga line!
- Thinking of starting a saltwater aquarium
- My angel and turquoise bow love to compete for the corys' sinking wafers. One picks it up and spits it out vice versa. I didn't get my camera out fast enough for the back n forth but they look pretty.. so here's a video complete with the sound of weenie dog pitter patter
- Girlfriend got me a 100 gallon tank full of breeding cichlids for my irl cake day. Gonna be awesome.
- Rainbow cichlid or dwarf rainbow cichlid (krib) ?
- Neocaridina davidi var. Blue dream. It's more than difficult to catch these guys with a camera.
- Noodly Fossils! Aren't they Adorable? (Senegal Bichirs a.k.a Polypterus Senegalus)

Unadvertised use of prime that you should all be aware of: super glue remover. Posted: 21 May 2019 04:37 AM PDT I gave some of my plants a bleach dip (30 secs, 20:1 water:bleach), followed by a concentrated prime bath (5ml/gal) to get rid of some algae. The prime bath was for two days. Some of the plants in the group were java ferns that were super glued to rocks. Those ferns are now free floating, as the prime has eaten away at the super glue. There was only one still holding onto its rock, but the glue crumbled with just some slight pressure, and the fern broke free. The bleach is not the culprit, as I have some lone rocks that were coated in algae that have been in the bleach solution for over 24 hrs now. One of them got a drop of glue on it at some point in its past. The glue is still firmly stuck to that rock. The glues were either flourish glue, or loctite super glue. They're both cyanoacrylate glues, so it shouldn't matter. So, yeah, now you know something else that prime can do! [link] [comments]

Thinking of starting a saltwater aquarium Posted: 21 May 2019 04:37 AM PDT I have had a freshwater aquarium for almost 6 years now and I'm thinking of getting a new setup. What should I know in terms of aquarium maintenance and daily/weekly upkeep activities that differ from freshwater tanks? [link] [comments]
