- 3 months ago my tank was poisoned and I lost all but one shrimp. Now I have a new colony, and my lone survivor is berried and ready to pass on her hardy genes.

- What’s this white like on my newly berried shrimps back?
- Need a cleanup crew! I have a couple bristlenose plecos that aren't finishing their food. I have been looking around for Amano shrimp, but they're pricy! This is a 23 gallon tank, so I need quite a few shrimp. The substrate is Fluval Stratum, so it should be perfect for shrimp.

Posted: 24 Apr 2019 10:59 PM PDT I'm not sure where to start for a tank setup or how to even start with shrimps. A lot of the abbreviations and lingo are hard to understand, I really enjoy looking at all these beautiful setups but how should I go about starting. Looking to do around a 2.5-3 gallon tank. Posted: 24 Apr 2019 10:38 PM PDT I've noticed that my red cherry shrimp tend to change color. When I first got them, I had two dark red specimens. Over time, one of them has lightened to a yellow-orange, and another one regularly changes to a light gray-red color (frequently right after feeding Hikari Shrimp Cuisine). Why does this happen? They seem healthy otherwise. Is this normal? [link] [comments] |
