Just found out my blue dreams successfully hatched!!!!
My oil slick absolutely love this guy
I cannot believe how cute, I'm glad I managed to get a photo of these two next to each other ! forgive phone quality

So I got some "rainbow shrimp" from my petco that are in great health, happy, and one yellow one is even berried!

I have 2 red, 2 blue, 2 yellow, 3 green, and one red& white one.

I made them their own tank, a planted 10g (is that enough space?) with mineral rocks, Cholla wood, a driftwood bonsai tree, fluval shrimp substrate, etc.

So here's my questions.

What exactly are "rainbow shrimp"?

When they breed will the babies be brown?

Is there any way to prevent the brown color?

How many shrimp can I safely keep in a 10g?

Should I keep the berried shrimp in a breeder box or just not interfere?

How quickly can shrimp become berried after releasing babies?

At what age do shrimp become able to breed?

How fast does a shrimp population get out of control?

Sorry so many questions!!! I'm excited to see my tank grow. It should be noted that I am not into "culling". If they turn brown I'll probably put them in my community tank and keep the colorful ones in the 10g, but any "brown" shrimp will still be kept.
